Cooper Bearings

Cooper Bearings offers a range of three standard Series: Cooper 01 bearing series for medium duty bearing applications, Cooper 02 bearing series for heavy duty bearing applications and Cooper 03 bearing series for extra heavy bearing applications. The use of more roller bearings, larger roller bearings or a combination of both, increases the load capacity of a roller bearing product.  Additional custom bearing products include; flat thrust bearings, the cooper 04 bearing series, and water cooled bearings.

Cooper 01 series

• The most commonly used of the three, standard series 01 bearings are intended for medium duty bearing loads and a wide range of speeds, up to 12,600 inches / 320,000mm dn under the right conditions. Some sizes are now available as the Cooper 01E bearing series with enhanced capacity. The new Cooper 01E bearings will be suitable in some applications where the heavier 02 series was previously used.

Cooper 02 series

• The 02 bearing series offers a more heavy duty bearing solution for demanding applications where the 01 bearing series may not be suitable. The 02 Series also operates over a wide range of speeds.

• Flat thrust bearings
  • Flat thrust bearings are available in solid ring FT and split ring ET designs, they can be manufactured in bore sizes from 21/4" upwards. Available as unmounted units.
• Cooper 04 bearings (04 series)
  • 04 Series bearings have been developed for high speeds and light loads
  • The diameter of the rollers are proportionally smaller and the cage is specially jointed which enables the bearing to operate at elevated speeds.
• Water cooled bearings
  • Designed primarily for use in steel mill continuous casters. The low profile housing is either cast or fabricated steel
