NSK Bearings NSK is a global leading supplier of bearings, automotive components and steering systems, precision and mechanical products. It also owns RHP. RHP Bearings (Ransom, Hoffman and Pollard) was formed in 1969 as a result of the merger of three of the UK's leading bearing manufacturers. 	NSK Bearing Units consist of a sealed single row ball bearing with spherical outside diameter and extended inner ring mounted in a pillow block or flanged housing. The spherical fit between the insert and housing enables the unit to accommodate initial misalignments. NSK supplies a full range of housing configurations made from ductile cast iron, cast steel or stainless steel depending on the requirements of the application. In addition, a variety of shaft locking mechanisms are available including set-screws, eccentric locking collars or adapter sleeves. NSK Bearing Units feature ‘flingers’ in addition to the bearing seals. The design of the flinger promotes an outward flow of air to keep contaminants away from the bearing. This improves the sealing performance of the standard bearing units.
RHP Self Lube Bearings
	RHP Self Lube units are simple and effective chemical resistant sealed bearings that can accommodate moderate initial misalignments from mounting errors. They are easily mounted and are particularly useful where fabricated machine frames are employed. The Self Lube units are available in a variety of pillow block and flange mounted configurations in one-piece cast iron or two piece pressed steel housings. Self Lube inserts are wide inner ring ball bearings that are factory charged with grease and effectively sealed. Most units also have re-lubrication facilities that may be required if the units are operating in arduous conditions. Simple shaft mounting is provided by means of an eccentric locking collar, set screws, adapter sleeve, or the patented S lock. In addition, RHP Self-Lube units designed for high and low temperature applications are also available that are capable of operating from –40 deg.C to +180 deg.C.
RHP Silver Lube Bearings
	RHP Silver Lube Bearings offer a range of corrosion resistant ball bearing units specifically designed for use in industries where frequent washdowns are necessary, optimum hygiene standards are required and good chemical resistance is important. These unit housings are manufactured from Valox 420 thermoplastic resin and are available in pillow block, two bolt flange, four bolt flange and take up unit configuration. The Silver-Lube bearing inserts are made of stainless steel, have an effective sealing arrangement and are charged with a USDA H1 approved food grease. All units have a re-lubrication facility and end covers are available. The Silver-Lube range is available in metric and inch shaft sizes from 20mm to 40mm.
